Adjunct Researcher at Individual and Group Interactions Lineat COES and Assistant Adjunct Professor at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile School of Psychology. He holds a doctorate in Social Psychology from the University of Sussex in the United Kingdom. Dr. de Tezanos’ main areas of interest are framed within the field of social psychology, with special emphasis on the study of intergroup relations in various national and international contexts, the influence of social norms on attitude formation and the study of patterns of segregation and everyday interactions among people from different groups.

2015 In Process Place attachment, micro-social cohesion and quality of geographic environments of residence: A contribution to the validation of quantitative instruments for interdisciplinary research The general objective of the proposal is to develop a questionnaire that allows for the offering of a standardized measurement of neighborhood attachment and the perception of the quality of the geographic surroundings. In addition, the aim is to apply the survey in 600 cases in the Metropolitan Region.

2014 In Process Scrambled together: Student integration in the classroom The objective of the project is to describe the level of integration or segregation that exists among students from 20 majors at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC) through the analysis of the students’ spatial position the classroom. The project also seeks to identify factors associated with greater integration.
